L.C.F.
The IFLE offers an intensive training leading to obtaining a diploma allowing a public
with insufficient mastery of the French language to acquire the linguistically,
communicative and cultural skills necessary for the integration of a university course at
the Limoges University.
Obtaining the D.U. "L.C.F. "allows the student to integrate the following year, a normal
curriculum in any component of the University of Limoges, in 1st, 2nd or 3rd cycle.
This training, lasts from one to three semesters (depending on skills in French),
provides a minimum of 20 hours per week of French classes (comprehension, oral and
written expression, structure of language, culture, French base on academic goals s,
etc.).
INTENSIVE TRAINING: 20h/week
1 year and a half from February to June 720h ►4500 €
1 year: September to June 480h ►3000 €
Registration is possible for one semester (February- June) only if the level of French is sufficient (TCF ̴
450pts) 240h ►1500 €
Semester 1:
 Main classes: French as a foreign language (240 hours / semester)
 Integration assistance (prefecture, housing, etc.) integration tutoring
 Cultural events
Semester 2:
 Main classes: French as a foreign language (200 hours / semester)
 Options: Preparation for academic work; Specific training in the chosen specialty.

The student may, when it reaches the level DELF B2, also attend classes in his specialty as an auditor:
personalized curriculum will be implemented upon request.
CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION:



Have at least a university entrance certificate.in the country of origin
Have a coherent study project
To have obtained the TCF with:
 Approximately 280 points for registration of 3 semesters
 Approximately 350 points for registration of 2 semesters
 Approximately 450 points for registration of one half

Must have completed gaocao (400 points) for Chinese students
COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM ATTACHED
Upon reception of your FULL ALLICATION FILE, we will submit it to the requested faculty department for
your studies pursuit. An educational commission will review your file. If this EDUCATIONAL
COMMISSION GIVES A POSITIVE OPINION, we will send you a letter of pre-registration.
Upon arrival at the University, you will present us the original documents for your final registration and pay the
balance of training fees (2750 euros), enrolment fees at the University (about 190 euros) and student
compulsory social security (about 210 euros).
The rates for the registration and the student social security rights prices will be available in July 2014.
