Dear Families:
Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place at Van Derveer School on November 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16.
All students will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m. on these days. Lunch will only be served to the kindergarten
students.
These conferences will provide you with a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s academic progress,
including areas of strength and possible areas of concern with the teachers. You will receive your child’s
report card (Grades 1-5) during the conference time, so it is important that you attend the conference.
In addition to meeting with your child’s homeroom teacher, you may conference with any other teacher
your child may work with during the school day.

Please be prompt in arriving for your scheduled conference as there is an allotted time with a great deal to
discuss. If for some reason you cannot keep your appointment, please call the Main Office at 218-4105.
