Getting Involved with PPIA!
Thank you for your interest in getting involved with PPIA’s action committees. By donating your time
and talents, you can help us improve our services, reach new audiences, and expand our influence in
higher education and public service.
Overview
The PPIA National Office is now accepting applications to join the following committees:

Marketing and Outreach Committee - This committee will address issues around the
development of new materials; communications, website development, and marketing of
programs.

Alumni Relations Committee - This committee will address issues around engaging PPIA alumni
nationally; establishing a system for mentoring/internships/jobs; and fundraising from alumni.

Expansion Committee - This committee will address issues relating to engagement and
expansion of the graduate school consortium; employer development; and development of
other new programs.
Eligibility and Commitment
Applicants must be an alumnus of PPIA and have an up-to-date Alumni-Net account. If you need help
accessing your account please contact the National Office. Involvement in this committee will require
participation in a monthly conference call or in person meeting and the ability to spend a minimum of 5
hours per month on PPIA related activities.
