TUITION POLICIES
Registration Fee: A fee of $110.00 per child or $250.00 a family is due at the time of registration in order to reserve your spot. It is non-refundable and is assessed each January.
Deposit: One week’s tuition is due when your child starts ABC Express and will be applied to your child’s last week.
Payments: Payments may be made weekly or monthly. If you choose to pay weekly, your payment is due on the first day of each week. If you choose to pay monthly, we will provide a
statement. Payment will be due on the date indicated on the invoice. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed for any and all late checks.
Returned Check: A $35.00 charge will be assessed to your tuition balance for any check returned from the bank.
Refunds: One half of your normal weekly tuition will be credited to your account if your child is absent the entire scheduled enrollment days within any given calendar week. Partial absences will
be charged as a regularly scheduled week.
Holidays for 2012: ABC Express will be closed the following days of 2012; Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, the Friday before Easter, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thursday and Friday of MEA( October 18th and 19th), Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after. These days have been accounted into the overall tuition and do not effect changes in your tuition
rate. However, ABC Express will close June 11-15, August 27-Sept. 3 (for teacher in-service) and December 24-January 1. You will be charged half rate for these 3 weeks.
Withdrawal Notice: Two weeks written notice is required for any change in schedule or withdrawal from program. Your first deposit will be applied to your last week.
Late Fee: There will be a late fee charged to any half-day parent arriving after 1:00 or full day parent arriving after 5:45. The fee will be $8.00 for every 5 minutes. This fee will automatically go
on your account.
Grievances: Any Parent who has a grievance or concern, the grievance should be handles in the following manner. The first step is to address the child’s primary teacher either by note, a phone
call, or face to face. This step should be handled within twenty four hours. If this concern is not handled to the parent’s satisfaction, the next step is to bring the grievance to the attention of
either one of the directors. Again, this should be handled preferably face to face or by note or phone call. The directors then have 72 hours to resolve the matter.
Discipline Action: No child at ABC Express will be allowed to physically harm another child and/or teacher. If the director feels this behavior is inappropriate and/or negative in any manner, a
conference will be called within 48 hours to discuss further action. If the behavior continues, the director reserves the right for the protection of all children and staff, to request the child no longer
attend ABC Express.
