The average WPE score of the Comp 450 students was just over 8.0 (passing) and was not significantly different from average scores of similar students in previous years. The results of assessing the Comp 450 term papers were generally positive, with an average score of 7.64 out of 12. A score of 6 was deemed acceptable. Actions April 2006: No changes in the curriculum were recommended. Since plagiarism was found in two of 22 papers reviewed, the department has undertaken a review of its anti-plagiarism efforts; a department wide anti-plagiarism standard is being finalized in Fall 2007. Second-Cycle Results A second cycle has not been conducted. The next assessment of this SLO will be in Fall 2008
