March 2008
Dear Parents:
Welcome to the North Haledon Cooperative Nursery School. We are pleased that your family will be
joining us for the 2008 – 2009 school year. Becoming a member of a cooperative provides a unique
and exciting opportunity for families to be a welcome part of their children’s early education experience.
There are plenty of special events and activities at the North Haledon Co-op for the children. We just
finished participating in Read Across America, a program sponsored by the National Education
Association that celebrates Dr. Seuss’s birthday and promotes early literacy. And, right now we are
getting ready to celebrate the Week of the Young Child. We will kick-off the celebration with our annual
Fun Fair on Saturday April 12 from 11 – 2. We hope you will join us for an afternoon of fun for our
preschoolers and their families and friends. There will be plenty of games, crafts, food and fun for
everyone.
Class & Tuition Information
Enclosed with this letter, please find a confirmation slip and tuition bill. The confirmation slip indicates
the class your child is scheduled in and whether or not you selected full participation (a family member
helps out in the classroom on a regularly scheduled basis) or partial participation (a family members
does not help out in the classroom). If you have any questions about your enrollment status, please
contact Registrar Amy Stampone at 973-427-8709 or nhcoop@optonline.net
Tuition payments are made in 10 installments, as detailed in your membership agreement. The tuition
bill shows the total tuition due, your installment payment amount, payment schedule and where to mail
or deliver your payments. It also details some important information about the school’s payment policy.
Please take some time to review this information. Additional copies of the tuition bill are available on
our website (www.northhaledoncoop.com). Questions regarding payments can be directed to our
Business Administrator, Francie Joseph Keating at 973-427-8709 or nhcoop@optonline.net.
The Membership Obligation Security Deposit is due by May 1st. The first tuition payment is due by
June 1st. The remaining 9 payments are due on or before the 1st day of the month, August – April.
Your tuition bill lists these due dates and payment policies.
