LEADERSHIP SEACOAST ALUMNI DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM RECEIVES SUPPORT ----------------------------------------------Seacoast Asset Management Donates to March LS Offers PORTSMOUTH, N.H., February 25, 2010 -- Leadership Seacoast recently received a $500 donation from Seacoast Asset Management to support its upcoming LS Offers alumni development event, “What Makes a Strong Economy and Community on the Seacoast -- Arts, Nonprofits, Business, and Tourism -- Barriers, Challenges, and Opportunities.” The event will bring together local and state experts to discuss the Seacoast community, its economy, and the elements that strengthen each during a panel discussion on Wednesday March 3, 2010 from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. at the new Loft @The Music Hall on Congress Street in Portsmouth. The LS Offers event coincides with Leadership Seacoast’s 2010 Economic Development/Arts and Culture Day and will bring together the program’s current class and its more than 500 alumni. Panel participants include George Bald, commissioner of the NH Department of Resources and Economic Development; Doug Bates, president of the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce; Nancy Carmer, economic development manager for the City of Portsmouth; Mary Ellen Jackson, executive director of the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits; and Patricia Lynch, executive director of The Music Hall. Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Seacoast Asset Management is an independent investment advisory and financial services firm that provides expertise in investments, insurance, and financial planning.
