Qualifications:
(1) Engineering & Technology (B. Tech. Programme) (a) Professor
 Ph.D. degree with Ist class degree (or 60%) at Bachelors or Master’s level in the appropriate
branch of Engineering/ Technology.
 10 year experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of
Associate Professor and/or equivalent.
 Candidate from Industry/Profession
with Master’s
Degree
in Engineering/Technology
and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D degree
with 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at a senior level comparable to
that of an Associate Professor would also be eligible.
(b) Associate Professor
 Ph.D degree with Ist class degree (or 60%) at Bachelors or Master’s level in the appropriates branch of
Engineering/Technology. Two years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of
lecturer or equivalent.
OR
 Candidate with First class degree (or 60%) at Master’s level in the appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology with 5 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of
Assistant Professor (Lecturer) or equivalent.

Candidate from Industry/Profession with Ist class Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology or Ist class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology.
AND
 Professional work, which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to PhD degree and
with 2 years Industrial/Professional experience at a position equivalent to Assistant Professor would
be eligible
(c) Assistant Professor (Lecturer)
 First
class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology
OR
 First class (or 60%) Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with
valid GATE score of 75 percentie or above.
(2) Management (MBA) (i) Professor

Ph.D degree or a fellowship of IIMs, ICA or ICWA or any AICTE approved institution with first class
Master’s degree in Business Management/Administration/ other relevant
management related
discipline/PGDBM/PGDM program (minimum 2 year’s duration) recognized by AICTE/MHRD/UGC and
declared equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU with

experience in
Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor.

AICTE/MHRD/UGC and declared equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU.
(3) Registrar: Master degree with minimum of 10 years experience and computer knowledge
(4) Asstt. Registrar: Master degree with minimum of 5 years experience and computer knowledge
(5) Demonstrator/Lab Assistant:

Engineering & Technology- Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering.
OR
 ITI in appropriate trade with minimum of 3 years experience.
 B. Sc .degree with relevant experience (only for physics/chemistry labs).
(6)Librarian – M. Lib. with minimum of 5 years experience
Salary: As per AICTE/NCTE/UGC Norms. However higher starting is no bar for deserving/excellent candidate.
