Alumni Career Notes
career information for bucknell alumni
Greetings from Lewisburg! This bi-monthly newsletter is intended to pass along timely
job search and career information to Bucknell Alumni. When searching for a job in the
21st century, the term, “pounding the pavement” has a much different meaning than it did
in times past because the pavement we pound is in often in cyberspace. While in some
ways this is much easier (not so hard on the feet), it is not without its pitfalls. In addition
to the recent job listings and upcoming events, this issue of Notes has information on how
to make the most of your internet job search.
Regarding information that is posted on myBucknell, the university’s portal, all alums
were given a username and password in January 2005. If you don’t remember or can’t
find your username and password, don’t worry – just contact the Alumni Office (570)
577- ALUM (2586) or mybucknell@bucknell.edu for help.
We hope you find this update useful. Feel free to pass this newsletter on to other
interested alums. They can let us know if they would like to be on the distribution list.
As always, should you need personal assistance with any career questions or issues,
please contact us at acs@bucknell.edu, 570-577-1238, or through IM at bualumnicareer
(Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon - 2 pm, and Wednesdays from 4-6 pm).
