Classroom Rules and Regulations
Spanish Class
Mr. Guevara

Welcome to Spanish!! As we prepare for a wonderful new school year at
Y.W.C.P.A, I must highlight my classroom policies so that each one of you knows
exactly what I expect each and every day. This class offers us a chance to pursue several
interesting projects that are unique in Languages other than English However, pursuing
fun and a variety of different activities requires your cooperation. The following policy
will allow this classroom to operate smoothly and efficiently. All students have the
potential to behave in a responsible and appropriate manner. Honesty and respect from all
students toward their classmates, the teacher, the classroom, and themselves are required.
To encourage a safe and positive environment for all students, the following rules and
regulations must be followed at all times.
The Classroom rules are as follows:
1.) Come to class everyday prepared with needed materials and homework.
2.) Always listen and follow directions or instructions.
3.) Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Respect others space and privacy!
4.) No unacceptable language of ANY KIND. This includes swearing, teasing
and name calling.
5.) No put-downs or bullying.
6.) Follow all guidelines set forth in the student handbook.
Consequences for choosing not to follow the above rules:
1.) A verbal warning will be given for the first offense.
2.) Removal from the class activity, and a failing grade for that activity.
3.) Detention and parental contact.
4.) A visit to discuss the problem with the Dean or Principal.
** Put-downs will require a positive comment to nullify the negative statement.
NOTE: If a student chooses to cause severe disruption(s), they will be removed from
class immediately and sent to the dean or principal.
Good Behavior will be rewarded as follows:
1.) If the entire class follows these rules and regulations, a special activity or
privilege will be rewarded to the class.
2.) For individuals, a positive call or note home to the parents (guardian) treats,
and other in-class privileges will be given.
The Materials needed for class:
1.) Writing Utensils(Pencils and Pens), eraser, Coloring pencils, Crayons
2.) Notebook paper, Composition Book, Typing paper, construction paper
3.) 1 Binder 2 Folders, 2 Boxes of glue stick, 1 box of Kleenex

All students and their parents/guardians must sign this policy after reading and agreeing
to abide by the guidelines set forth by Mr.Guevara. If I fail to do so, I understand that
actions will result in the consequences stated above.
