Student Application Form
Note: Scholarships are available only to students who are fully admitted to the University
of Mississippi.
Instructions
a. Complete the Student Application Form
b. Have your high school send directly to the Alumni Affairs office a statement
verifying your grade-point average, your rank, and the number in your class.
Also, have your school send an official copy of your transcript through the
end of the first semester of your senior year.
c. Have one of your teachers and another person familiar with your
qualifications write a letter of recommendation. These letters should be sent
from the recommending persons directly to the Alumni Affairs office at The
University of Mississippi.
d. Write a one-page summary telling why you should be selected as a recipient
for the Ben Williams Scholarship and how it would be beneficial to you in
preparing for your career.
UNLESS THIS APPLICATION IS COMPLETE IN EVERY RESPECT,
THE COMMITTEE WILL BE UNABLE TO CONSIDER IT.
