Important elements of the 6-week Summer Science Enrichment Program are: Intensive courses and workshops on writing, mathematics, research design, and chemistry. Hands-on lab on cardiovascular physiology, human physiology (or microbiology), and computational biology. Applicants will meet beginning June 5, 2015. Please include the following documents with your application (you will not be eligible if you do not have a completed application package): 1. A copy of your most recent transcript (unofficial copies accepted) 2. 1-2 page essay stating (a) why you chose your major, (b) why you want to participate in the PreMARC program, and (c) how your participation in the program will help you reach your academic goals. 3. One academic or professional letter of recommendation from someone who knows you well and knows your skills and achievements (such as an academic professor, a counselor, an employer, or someone who has had enough interaction with you to give a good assessment of your skills and achievements). Please, no personal letter of recommendation. I am interested in participating in the Pre-MARC Summer Science Enrichment Program.
