Chinese Christian Universities Alumni Association HK Scholarships
Purpose and Background
With the generous donation from the Chinese Christian Universities Alumni Association Hong
Kong (the Donor) to Lingnan University (the University), the “Chinese Christian Universities
Alumni Association HK Scholarships” (the Scholarships) have been established with effect from
the academic year 1995/96. The following regulations shall apply as of 2015/16.
1.
The Scholarships shall be known as the “Chinese Christian Universities Alumni
Association HK Scholarships” (全國基督教大學同學會獎學金).
2.
A sum of HK$15,000 for three scholarships shall be available.
Eligibility and Criteria
1.
The Scholarships shall be awarded to three full-time students, who have achieved
outstanding performances in service-learning projects during the year.
2.
The Scholarships shall be awarded on the basis of one’s commitment in the provision of
services to the community. If there are candidates of comparable performance, their
involvement in extra-curricular activities should be taken into consideration.
Procedure
1.
Nominations from the Office of Service-Learning shall reach the Student Services Centre
which will forward the list to the donor for approval.
2.
These regulations may be revised subject to mutual agreement between the Donor and the
University.
