No exceptions Department of Communication Georgia State University Available Lab Positions Positions General Description of Duties Computer Support Lab support PC Specialist; computer troubleshooting Digital Arts Entertainment Lab supervise the equipment check-out/in for the graduate courses in film/video production; must be familiar with a variety of audio, film/video and lighting equipment and the ability to perform routine maintenance. Debate Lab assist Debate faculty Speech 1000 Labs attend and assist in the big lecture and run the speech 1000 breakout labs; reinforces lectures through activities and grade speeches in labs. Film 2700 Labs attend and assist in the big lecture and run the film 2700 breakout labs; reinforces lectures through activities and grade speeches in labs; will be responsible for teaching standalone course in the spring semester Undergrad Academic Advising advise undergrad majors; work closely with undergad Director Video/Film/TV/Check out supervise equipment checkout for undergrads Screening Room Assistant assist in various screening room activities Other Positions Available Graduate Teaching Assistants responsible for teaching undergraduate courses Graduate Large Lecture Lab Assistants assists in large classrooms of 120 students Each position consists of a research component (340 hours of teaching or lab plus 180 hours of research for a total of 520 hours annual commitment)
