WELCOME TO WANNIASSA SCHOOL FOR 2015!
We welcome all students, teachers, parents and carers of the Wanniassa School community for
the 2015 school year. A special welcome to all new students in Preschool, Kindergarten and Year 7,
those joining other year groups, and of course their families. It is a privilege to have you with us at
wonderful Wanniassa – a great school! Please remind your son/daughter to wear school
uniform/colour code on every school day. Thank you for your support in this.

Staff News We welcome back all Teachers and Admin staff who were here last year!
 On the Senior Campus, we welcome classroom teachers Ms Ruth Williams, Ms Helen SoufliasMantinaos, Mr Andrew Wright and Mr Reece Cheater. Ms Sally-Anne Hegh also returns on
contract. Welcome back Ms Estelle Gillingham (SLC) from maternity leave. We also welcome Ms
Sue Schulz, the new Senior Campus school psychologist who will be here Mondays and
Thursdays (TBC). At the end of 2014 we farewelled teachers Mr Nathan Hitchcock & Ms Doris
Owusu-Ansah who transferred to other schools and the school counsellor Mr Rob Walls who
retired. Thank you also to Kori Plumridge from the Achievement Centre for his contribution to
the school.
 On the Junior Campus, we welcome classroom teachers Ms Hayley Eaton, Ms Rachel Ennis, Ms
Christina Bowman and Ms Louise Poulakis (Japanese). Welcome back Ms Amy Byrne, appointed
as Teacher/Librarian (part-time) and Ms Karen Cooper who has also been appointed as the fulltime preschool teacher. We also welcome Mr Amit Pearce, the new school psychologist who will
be on the Junior Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. At the end of 2014 we
farewelled teachers Ms Judy Richards, Ms Elaine Hine (Librarian), Ms Jess Maloney, Sonya
O’Hara, Susie Deards and LSA Jenny Birch


 The new Canteen Manager on the Senior Campus is Ms Annie Hallett.
