Intensive Care Unit – St. Clare Hospital

# of beds: 10 beds

Average Daily Census: 8.32

Patient Care Team: Primary Care Nursing

What: Very diverse unit that serves a high population of patients whose
primary diagnoses is respiratory failure, coronary disease, gastrointestinal
disorders, vascular/orthopedic surgeries, acute diabetics, CVA and
septicemia

Shift Rotations: 12 hour- 3 day/week- (Days- 7a-7:30p) (Nights-7p7:30a)

Experience: Prefer one-two years experience in an Intensive Care/StepDown unit, along with current ACLS.

Key Skills for Success: Likes being at the bedside providing care and
educating the “entire” family, along with the patient. Looks for
opportunities for process improvement within their department/hospital
and seeks out on-going educational growth opportunities and community
involvement. Has a high standard for compassionate care while also
ensuring the highest standards of patient care and patient safety are
maintained.

Patient Care Team: Primary Care Nursing

What: Very diverse unit that serves a high population of patients whose
primary diagnoses is respiratory failure, coronary disease, gastrointestinal
disorders, vascular/orthopedic surgeries, acute diabetics, CVA and
septicemia

Shift Rotations: 12 hour- 3 day/week- (Days- 7a-7:30p) (Nights-7p7:30a)

Experience: Prefer 1-2 years experience in a Progressive Care
Unit/Telemetry Unit, along with current ACLS. Will train New Graduates.

