KENT JUNIOR CHOIRS UNITE FOR CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Junior singers will celebrate Christmas in song with a festive concert at All Saints
Church, Mill Street, Maidstone, on Saturday December 13.
Kent County Junior Singers (KCJS) and Kent County Junior Choir (KCJC) draw
members from across the county and will be conducted by leading voice coaches
Andy Millest, Ciara Considine and Karen Hill.
Liz Samson, who manages the choirs for Kent Music, said: “Our juniors are looking
forward to celebrating Christmas with a variety of songs in a range of musical styles all
with a festive theme. Our courses give eight to fifteen-year-olds who love music the
opportunity to develop their singing, make new friends and enjoy the experience of
performing in inspiring venues.”
Tickets, priced at £8 (£5 concessions) are available on the door and the audience is
invited to sing along with traditional carols in the beautiful surroundings of the 14th
Century building.
High quality vocal training is given by experienced Kent Music conductors and vocal
coaches. The choirs meet throughout the year and also during the summer at
Benenden School for a three day residential course.
New members are welcome to audition in the New Year; details can be found at
www.kent-music.com or by calling Valerie Cordina on 01622 358402.
