PRESS RELEASE Issued on behalf of Kent Music November 2014 KENT JUNIOR CHOIRS UNITE FOR CHRISTMAS CONCERT Junior singers will celebrate Christmas in song with a festive concert at All Saints Church, Mill Street, Maidstone, on Saturday December 13. Kent County Junior Singers (KCJS) and Kent County Junior Choir (KCJC) draw members from across the county and will be conducted by leading voice coaches Andy Millest, Ciara Considine and Karen Hill. Liz Samson, who manages the choirs for Kent Music, said: “Our juniors are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with a variety of songs in a range of musical styles all with a festive theme. Our courses give eight to fifteen-year-olds who love music the opportunity to develop their singing, make new friends and enjoy the experience of performing in inspiring venues.” Tickets, priced at £8 (£5 concessions) are available on the door and the audience is invited to sing along with traditional carols in the beautiful surroundings of the 14th Century building. High quality vocal training is given by experienced Kent Music conductors and vocal coaches. The choirs meet throughout the year and also during the summer at Benenden School for a three day residential course.
