SCHOOL MEALS
Thank you for supporting the school meals, I am pleased to report there has been a
recent increase in the take up of 20%, if this can be maintained it will reduce the
cost to the school budget considerably. Thank you to those parents that have
joined us for a roast meal on Wednesday’s, it has been lovely for the children to
have some visitors! Please keep up the support, anyone interested – please see the
school office.

OCRA CLUB

EXETER VISIT 18th APRIL
We all had a very interesting time at Exeter Synagogue and The Mosque.
The children were very good and had a lot of information from both churches to
absorb. Having lunch in between at the St Sidwell’s Centre was ideal and as an
extra we learnt some history about the 2nd World War damage to this this building
and why it has since been converted to a community centre.
SICKNESS
If your child has an illness that could be infectious or
contagious please telephone the school office as
soon as possible. If a child has been sick even once
or suffered from diarrhoea they should not attend
school for 24 hours after their last attack.
PE KIT
A reminder that the children in Class 2 need a red
school T- shirt, black shorts and trainers or plimsolls
in school for all PE lessons. Links Tor (Class 2)
Wednesday and Friday. Sharp Tor (Class 1) children
will need trainers or plimsolls only in school every
day.
PRODUCE MARKET
The next produce market takes place in the Nicholls Hall on Saturday 2nd June at 10
-12.00 noon. The usual FOLS stall will be there again, £22.82 was raised and
additionally it was the FOLS turn to receive the profits from the refreshments
bringing in a further £53.70. Please see Kirsty if you can help at future markets so
the FOLS can continue to benefit. A big thank-you to Kirsty and helpers.
Y6 LEAVING TREAT
Our Y6 pupils have chosen to watch a DVD in school and we have a ‘T Party’ in
school afterwards which will end at 6 pm. This will be a substantial meal. Thank you
to the FOLS for funding this.
