Igniting Imagination, Enhancing Learning
Newsletter – 11th September 2015
A message from the Headteacher
The PTA have very kindly offered to host this year’s’ Macmillan Coffee Morning’ on Friday 25 th
September in the school hall at 2pm. This is a brilliant way to share a cuppa, have a catch up
and raise money for this very worthwhile charity. I look forward to seeing some of you there.
Kindest regards
Sue English
Progress update
Just to keep you up to date, the foundations for the new school have been put in place, the
roof is going on and the concrete is being poured for the floors. Please do visit the website and
read the blog for a blow by blow progress report.
Polite Notice
In order to keep our children safe, please can you remember to close the school gates after
entering or exiting the school playground. Many thanks in advance for your co-operation.
Volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers to come in and help with the children’s learning. If you
have a few spare hours or feel you could help in anyway, please speak either with your child’s
teacher or come and have a chat with me.
Tuck Shop
Healthy tuck shop will now be on Tuesdays in the playground at morning break time. Items
are priced up to 25p.
Polite Notice
Please can you refrain from using the staff car park as children access the gate at the rear of
the school and they are not always aware of moving traffic or visible to drivers. We understand
that parking in the parental car park is limited but we have extended drop off time to try and
ease the congestion. The playground is now staffed from 8.30am onwards.
