You will receive a written report covering all the things you will have discussed over the year. Reports will be
sent home to those who cannot make it into school.
Welcome Wednesdays
Each term a class will invite their parents in to join in/observe their child learning. This gives you an
opportunity to see your child in action, see your class teacher in action and look at the work they have
displayed in the class and along the corridors
These sessions are 9-10am ( Timetable separate and on website or ask your child’s class teacher)
Friday Assembly
Each term a class will invite their parents to watch their assembly. This gives you a chance to see what your
child has been learning about and watch them perform to an audience!
Other Events
Throughout the year there are many school and church events and trips out which you will be invited to attend
so that you can keep up to date with what your child is learning.
Don’t forget to visit our website too at www.stpetersschool.co.uk
Whenever there is a Parent Evening the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher/SENCO are also available to talk to
parents. These are not the only times you can see a senior leader. You can make an appointment at any time of
the school year. Pop into the Office to see if someone is available or make an appointment. If you need to speak
to a senior member of staff urgently, you will always be contacted as soon as possible.
These are not the only times you are able to meet with teachers. You can always catch a teacher at the end or
beginning of the day in the playground – they will either be able to help you there and then, or make an
appointment for another time.
I hope this information is useful and we welcome you all back to school.
