LEICESTER-SHIRE SCHOOLS MUSIC SERVICE (LSMS)
SENIOR PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE

We would like to invite you to enrol as a member of LSMS Senior Percussion Ensemble, who meet
every Wednesday evening during term time at The Palmer-Tompkinson Centre, Longslade
Community College, Wanlip Lane, Birstall, LE4 4GH, from 7.00pm until 8.00pm. Rehearsal and
term dates are at the end of this letter.
Details regarding concerts will be sent out after rehearsals begin in the Autumn Term - If you find you
are unable to make a concert when you receive this information, please let the Conductor know as
soon as possible.
Final details about concerts will be emailed out to Parents / Carers approximately three weeks before
the performance. This information will also be posted on the LSMS website on the Performance
Information page. www.leics.gov.uk/performance_information . Parent / Carers who have not
supplied an email address on their child’s registration form will be posted this information.
The first rehearsal of the Autumn Term will be on Wednesday 3rd October.
Please return the registration form indicating whether or not you wish to take up the offer of a place
by Friday 21st September 2012. Please also ensure that you read the rules / procedures sheet
carefully.
The termly fee for this evening class is £42.00. Please see the attached registration form for full
remission details. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM. An
invoice for the first termly charge will be sent to you early in the term.
