CALL FOR PAPERS
GENERAL INFORMATION
RMERA 2014 will be hosted by the University of West Florida on October 23-25, 2014
at the Hampton Inn on Pensacola Beach, Florida. This Call for Papers is an invitation to
submit proposals in one of three categories:
(1) Research Presentation, (2) Symposia, and (3) Poster Session. Those invited to be
program participants must be registered for the conference (see Registration form).
Research Presentations:
Paper presentations are for the purpose of sharing findings of a research activity. Each
presentation will be approximately 15 minutes followed by a five minute question-andanswer session. Completed research proposals should include:
(a) Conceptual framework or theoretical underpinning of the study
(b) Statement of the Research Problem and/or Research Questions (or Hypotheses)
(c) A summary of Methods, Data, Instrumentation, Analysis, and Results
(d) Conclusions or Implications for Practice
Symposia:
Each symposium will be 40 minutes in length and usually include extended or combined
presentation of similar topics by multiple authors. Proposals should include an overview,
summaries of all included papers, and suggestions for audience participation. The cover
sheet should contain the title and presenter of each topic and list the organizer.
Poster Presentation*:
Posters are to be organized to permit informal discussion of on-going research projects,
best practices, or other domains of interest to the field of Education. Presenters will
remain with their posters during the prescribed time for their session. Proposals should
include a description of the topic, its significance, methods, and results (if applicable).

(1) Complete the Registration form and send check for registration
(2) E-mail your proposal (Limit to 250 words) using APA 6th edition format by the
August 1, 2014 deadline to:
