An important component of your child’s success at Northeast Kings
Education Centre will be effective communication between home and school. There are a
number of ways in which you can communicate with the school. Please feel free to contact us if you have any
questions or concerns.

 Home and School Meetings: 3rd Monday of alternating months starting on September 15. Meetings begin at
5:00 pm and take place in the school Foods Lab and food and beverages will be provided.
 Parent Portal access to view your child’s grades and attendance. Drop by the office with photo ID to get your
access.
 Monthly Newsletter: 2nd Friday of each month hard copy and electronic copies e-mailed out if you have given us
your e-mail address. We also post them on our school website.

Please continue to read the school newsletter and the website for information on special
events at the school, including: concerts, plays, coffee houses, fall fling, sporting events,
