apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, 2 which
he promised beforehand through his prophets in
the holy Scriptures, 3 concerning his Son, who
was descended from David according to the flesh
4 and was declared to be the Son of God in power
according to the Spirit of holiness by his
resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
5 through whom we have received grace and
apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith
for the sake of his name among all the nations,

BELIEVER’S PURPOSE FOR LIFE
• 31 So, whether you eat or drink,
or whatever you do, do all to the
glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

HOLY SCRIPTURES
• 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and
profitable for teaching, for reproof, for
correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be competent,
equipped for every good work.
• Sufficient; Clear; Final Authority, Necessary
• Inerrant, Objective, Universal, Eternal

CHRIST’S RESURRECTION
• 12 Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from
the dead, how can some of you say that there
is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there
is no resurrection of the dead, then not even
Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not
been raised, then our preaching is in vain and
your faith is in vain. 1 Corinthians 15
THE GOSPEL
• 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance
what I also received: that Christ died for our sins
in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was
buried, that he was raised on the third day in
accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he
appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then
he appeared to more than five hundred brothers
at one time, most of whom are still alive, though
some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to
James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to
one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

OBEDIENCE OF FAITH
• 21 Whoever has my commandments and
keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he
who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I
will love him and manifest myself to him.”
John 14:21
• 10 For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared beforehand, that we should walk in
them. Ephesians 2:10
• 7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called
to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Longing to Go to
Rome 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for
all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the
world. 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my
spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I
mention you 10 always in my prayers, asking that
somehow by God's will I may now at last succeed in
coming to you. 11 For I long to see you, that I may
impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—
12 that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by
each other's faith, both yours and mine. 13 I want you
to know, brothers, that I have often intended to come
to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order
that I may reap some harvest among you as well as
among the rest of the Gentiles.
• 14 I am under obligation both to Greeks and
to barbarians, both to the wise and to the
foolish. 15 So I am eager to preach the gospel
to you also who are in Rome. The Righteous
Shall Live by Faith 16 For I am not ashamed of
the gospel, for it is the power of God for
salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew
first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the
righteousness of God is revealed from faith for
faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live
by faith.”
SALVATION BY FAITH
• 8 For by grace you have been saved through
faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the
gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no
one may boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9
• Saved by Grace alone
• Through Faith alone
• In The Lord Jesus Christ alone
• To the glory of God alone
