MSA IR Sensor vs. Existing IR sensors
• Most IR Sensors on the Market Today:
– Absorb IR Light by the C-H bonds (“hydro carbons”) of molecules
– Mirror doubles path length; can condense with temperature changes
– Condensation absorbs some of the light; can cause false readings
