The NVOMD aims to promote Veterinary Orthomanual Medicine in the broadest sense and look after its members interests.
The NVOMD tries to achieve these goals by:

Promotion of the integration of Veterinary Orthomanual Medicine with regular veterinary medicine;
•
Realization of an optimal training for Veterinary Orthomanual Medicine and guarding the quality of the training;
•
Promotion of the expertise of its members by training;
•
Stimulation and coordination of scientific research in the field of Veterinary Orthomanual
Medicine;
•
Communication with relevant social organizations in order to promote and maintain the social recognition of Veterinary Orthomanual Medicine;
•
Representation of its members at (semi)governmental organizations, political organizations and professional organizations;
•
Foundation, maintenance and management of an independent register of quality, or founding and organization to perform this task, or commissioning an independent organization to perform this task;
•
Promotion of the institution and maintenance of a complaints procedure concerning its members;
•
Promote the knowledge of Veterinary Orthomanual Medicine in every respect and in all sections of society;
•
Look after the interests of Veterinary Orthomanual Medicine and NVOMD members by all legal means;
