
Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD)
or Kartagener Syndrome (KS), is a
rare, ciliopathic, autosomal recessive gene
tic disorder that causes a defect in the
action of the cilia lining the respiratory
tract (lower and pper, sinuses, Eustachian
tube,middle ear) and fallopian tube.
