The Brand Name
We believe that the brand name is the most important tool for marketing as a symbol of the business concept, quality
and long term thinking. Therefore, we have invested many millions of SEK into establishing and charging SUPRA over
the years.
The Identity
In order to succeed it must also have an identity. This identity is the Ice Blue Supra Color and a profile of no-nonsense
designs.
The Segmentation
We have chosen to place Supra in the upper part of the market pyramid, but not in the top. The top represents golden
edged products of high price but small quantities. No business. The lower part of the pyramid represents the noname
mass/standard cables, sold or given away in the shops or go with the stereo equipments from the manufacturers. Large
quantities but low profit. No business.
History
• Since 1976 – 36 years
• Founder Tommy Jenving
• First Product: Classic 2.5 Loudspeaker Cable
In 1976 Tommy Jenving introduced the
SUPRA 2.5 loudspeaker cable, a 2.5 sqmm
cable unlike any of the previous cables on
the market. At this time the most usual
size of loudspeaker cables was 0.5 sqmm
and for high specifications the only option
was 0.75 sqmm, a concept that SUPRA
changed with our 2.5 sqmm loudspeaker
cable. Since then SUPRA Cables have
been producing high quality cables for
over 35 years with our philosophy “nononsense design”.

Coaxial S/PDIF, RCA
The most common consumer
electronic format 75 Ohm S/PDIF is an
interface for BNC- or RCA- connectors.

Optical S/PDIF
An optical variant of S/PDIF where
light is used for signal transfer.
AES/EBU, XLR
110 Ohm AES/EBU is a blanced
interface with X LR connectors. The
most common in professional use.
Analogue Video
Aerial
Anco is a silver plated cable for high quality
aerial/SAT signals. Available only with
European co-axial TV (PAL) connectors. Male
to male or female to male. Suitable
connectors is Acon M and Acon F.
Composite
Trico and Anco has a property that is the
secret behind the sharp and clean picture:
True 75 Ohm for low reflection loss,
especially at longer runs. Trico and AnCo have
double screening for less interference.
All connectors are screened.
Component
The component cables are available in
different combinations with RCA, BNC, Scart,
VGA, and DVI connectors. All connectors are
screened.
Component Video is a high quality transfer
technique, and can handle HD-resolutions up
to 1080p.
DVI-I Analogue
For transfer of analogue RGB, suitable
between DVD/Computer and
monitor/projector with DV-I input. Fully
shielded and rewireable connectors enables
installation in conduits >20mm dia.
RCA/BNC Multi
These cables are made with the high quality
AV-series, multi coax cables of True 75 Ohm.
Available in any combination with Component,
RGB, CVBS and Svideo
Scart
These are ”specialized Scart Cables” using the
high quality AV-series multi coax of true 75
Ohms and low losses, for best performance.
Available in many combinations with Scart,
RCA, BNC and S-video.
S-Video
The S-Video cables are available in different
combinations with Scart/S-video/RCA
connectors. All connectors are shielded
S-Video givs better colour quality and
sharpness than composite video. Supports
480i and 576i formats.
VGA
These cables are specialised VGA cables of the
high quality AV series, multi coax of true 75
Ohm and low loss for best performance.
Available in many combinations with VGA,
RCA, BNC, Scart and DVI.

HDMI-HDMI Met-S/B - High Speed with Ethernet
This new HDMI cable version got a connector made in metal, and is very easy
to attach/detach. There is a plastic moulding over the soldered part that fits
exactly in the metal housing. Two versions are provided with all of these HDMI
interconnects. One is bent, one is straight: use the one that fits your setup best.

SUPRA HDMI-DVI is a high quality ’single link’ cable, designed for digital video in longer
runs. The cable is terminated with over moulded HDMI-Connector to a DVI-D plug. The
gold plating on the pins is 0.8 micro metre thick for long life reliable connection. The DVID connector is fully shielded by means of its aluminium housing.
HDMI <-> DVI MET-S/B - HD Video
Both the HDMI & DVI connector are made in metal, and are very easy to attach/detach.

DVI-DVI Single-Link- HD Video

SUPRA DVI-DVI is designed for video transfer up to 20 m. Maximum resolution WUXGA
1920x1200. The cable is provided with SUPRA´s quality connectors DVI-D. The connector
is fully shielded by means of its aluminium housing. It is rewireable for after-termination
at installation in conduits. The gold plating of the pins is 0.8 micro metre thick, for long
life, reliable connection
DVI-DVI Dual-Link- HD Video
SUPRA DVI-DVI Dual-Link is designed for video transfer up to 20 m. Maximum resolution
WQUXGA 3840x2400. The cable is provided with SUPRA´s quality connectors DVI-D. The
connector is fully shielded by means of its aluminium housing. It is rewireable for aftertermination at installation in conduits. The gold plating of the pins is 0.8 micro meter
thick, for long life, reliable connection.

High Performance, High Speed, type A-B
A flexible cable with dual screens for the best RF pick-up
protection. One twisted pair for data and one twisted pair for
power, individual screens for minimal interference. Low
capacitance and efficient noise rejection maintain
signal integrity in the long run interconnects.
PE-insulated wires with correct 90 Ohms impedance
design. 24K gold plated and shielded connectors.
The connectors are molded to withstand tough

LoRad Screened Mains Flex, Patented LoRad stands for Low Radiation
of electric and magnetic alternating fields. Protects your equipment
from radiated mains noise as well as from RF pick-up.
The screen protects from the electric fields and the short pitch twisting
