UNDERAGE DRINKING
FOR PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 21 THE LEGAL

THE PENALTIES ARE:
30-90 Day driver license suspension
30-90 day probation from becoming a licensed driver at
18 years
Mandatory community service for 15-30 days
Participation in Intoxicated Driver Resource Center
Combination of the minimum sentences above driving

1st offense
Loss of license-6 months to a year
Fines- $1,750
Imprisonment-up to 30 days

2ND OFFENSE
Loss of license-2 years
Fines-$2,275 and $100 a day

Community service-12-48 hours IDRC, 30

3RD OFFENSE
Loss of license-10 years
Fines-$2,775 and $100 a day
Imprisionment-180 days
Community service-12-48 hrs IDRC, 90
days
DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED
Loss of license-1/2 year
Fines-$500 fine, 3 year surcharge @ $1,000 a year.
Imprisionment-10-96 days
