Cisco 4000 Series
Integrated Services Routers

DPVT R&S – Janeiro 2015
There are NO plans to announce an
end-of-sale for the ISR G2 in the
immediate future. That will happen once
a significant number of customers have
migrated to the ISR4K. Expect plenty of
notice before an actual EoS.

A Word About -X

ISR 4451-X was originally intended to align with the ASR1002-X and the
ASR1001-X. However, this was the first member of a new family and
didn’t really require the suffix.

With the introduction of the rest of the ISR 4000 portfolio, the ISR 4451X is now the ISR 4451 without the –X.

Ordering SKUs remain unchanged and keep the –X for consistency with
existing orders and quotes.

The –X is being removed from all collateral, but the platform remains
exactly the same.
