This document explains how to setup SIP trunk.

NCP is used as SIP provider in this document.

It is necessary to install VoIP DSP card.

1) Activation key for SIP Extension is required.

VoIP DSP card does not provide SIP phone activation key by default.

It is necessary to install VoIP DSP card.

1) Assign number of SIP-GW channel for Activation Key.

8ch for IP-GW

8ch for SIP-GW

If all CHs are used for “IP-GW”, SIP-GW does not work.

2) Assign V- SIPGW16 card.

3) Open “Port Property” of V-SIPGW16.

4) Assign Channel Attribution and IP address of NCP as carrier after OUS.

Sever name is used usually for actual carrier.

- Port 5 and 6 are connected with SIP extension of NCP for this example.

- Port 1 to 4 do not have relation with this demo.

These are example for SIP trunk to SIP trunk connection.

5) Assign “User Name”, “ID” and “Password”.

- User Name & ID = Extension Number of NCP

- Password = SIP extension password of NCP

- Port 1 to 4 do not have relation with this demo.

6) Return to In Service.

- Port 1 to 4 do not have relation with this demo.

7) Set Trunk Group 2, if Trunk Group 1 is used for other demo.

- Port 1 to 4 do not have relation with this demo.

8) Assign dialing plan in order to make CO call without dialing “#”.

When Ex201 in TDE calls

Ext 1001 in NCP, dial 0/91001 or dial 802(TRG2)-1001.

9) Assign DDI.

When Ex1001 in NCP calls

Ext 201 in TDE, dial 3002 .

DDI 3002 is routed to Ext 201 .
