TRe: Setup => Auto Discovery
● EGX300 features the ability to “Auto
Discover” devices in its daisy chain
● The EGX300 will not find remote
devices; the user will need to define a
locate address and remote address
● Look under the device list and scroll
to the bottom of the page
● The user needs to setup the right
baud rate and settings for this ability
to work.
Press to Discover
Schneider Electric - Division - Name – Date
11
Note: Device List
● Devices can either be manually
entered or auto discovered.
● You can manually enter a device and
not have it present; however, you will
not have a page created for the
device until the device is connected.
● There should not be a problem for
communication because the EGX300
will not detect the device.
Schneider Electric - Division - Name – Date
12
TRe: Setup => Data Export
● Users have four options
● Disable
● Export via FTP
● Export via HTTP
● Export via E-mail
● Users will have to setup logging first
before choosing either options
● Uses can now only send
“incremental” data versus ALL data
with the EGX400
● Data can be push incrementally
● For Equipment Plants, the option is
usually disable by default.
Schneider Electric - Division - Name – Date
13
TRe: Monitor => Single Device Page
● The EGX300 has the ability to display
real time readings from devices.
● The devices can be selected
individually
● All data displayed has been scaled
and set at factory
● Any unique requests will have to be
done as a custom page
● Analog Meter Display is Available
Schneider Electric - Division - Name – Date
14
TRe: Monitor => Summary Pages
Summary Pages are standard with TRe
level 2 support.
Users can select ALL or individual
pages to be displayed the summary
pages.
Pages to be displayed:
● Circuit Summary
● Load Current
● Demand Current
● Power
● Energy
