Module 11 PS M4110 Management <Place supporting graphic here> Module Objectives: • Connect using each of the four management methods • Connect the PS-M4110 to different fabrics • Describe the difference between the in band and out of band deployment methods • Joining a Multi-member Group using External Arrays Connect To PS-M4110 There are four management methods used to connect to a member. 1 Group Manager 2 Serial Console Ports 3 Telnet / SSH 4 M1000e CMC / iDRAC Connect To M4110 iDRAC via CMC • M1000e CMC Login • Default login=root • Default password = calvin • No O/S required • No agents to install Telnet to CMC • Telnet to the IP address of the CMC and login Connect To PS-M4110 • Connect to the iDRAC port of the PS-M4110 with a RACADM command – Connect server-x (x=slot number) • Login to the member to issue PS-Series cli commands Fabric Selection Change the Fabric • If the member is already installed you can change the fabric it communicates on.
