with an activity of factor VIII / XI of …….%.
This is a severe (<1%) less severe (2-5%) or mild (6-40%) type.
There is a risk for spontaneous bleedings in joints and muscles and accidentally other severe
bleedings.
When such problems appear, treatment should be started immediately. Give patient:

Recombinate factor VIII intravenously (50-100 E/kg/hr)
factor IX intravenously (100 E/kg)
Thereafter as frequent as needed
In acute situations, please give this medication first before further diagnostic procedures
treatment.
