猪血虱 (Haematopinus suis) 主讲 米政实 组员 申翰钦 王德刚 高李泽 08级动物科学类丁颍班 2015/4/13 Haematopinus suis • Belongs to the suborder Anoplura(虱目) • The swine louse is the largest louse affecting domestic animals(家畜) and is of common occurrence wherever the hog is found. The pig is its only host, and when not molested the parasite is likely to increase in large numbers and cause an unthrifty condition in a herd. 2015/4/13 1 形态学(Morphology) Antenna 触角 Legs 足 Claw 抓 Haematopinus has a long narrow head, long mouthparts adapted for sucking blood, and large claws each on its six legs. The wide body is grayishbrown with black edges. This is the only louse of swine. 2015/4/13 2 生活史(Life cycle) Adult About 12 days Nymph (若虫) Egg (3 to 6 eggs per day) 2015/4/13 Hatch in 1 to 2 weeks Each Haematopinus suis female produces up to 90 eggs over 25 to 30 days.
