INTRODUCTION
• Mulita is a city in very remote area of DRC,
located in MANIEMA province around 300 km
from KINDU town.
• Mulita health center belong to CECA 16
church one of the member of CME
NYANKUNDE.
• Bunia Ophthalmic center which is one the
branch of CME still covering all the oriental
province of DRC and some area of KIVU
Province.

STATISTIC REPORT
• 207 patients had been see by the
ophthalmologist
• 102 patients underwent eye surgery: -65
patients recover the sight after cataract
surgery, 27 patients underwent
trabeculectomy because of glaucoma and 10
patients other miner eye surgery.
• Among 27 patients with irreversible blindness
22 were because of absolute glaucoma.
Recommendation and conclusions
• We urge the member of CECA 16 Church to
help us to get MULITA two time per year to
alleviate eye burden of those population and
also to sustain our service.
• Many patients become irreversible blind
because of glaucoma I suggest to conduct
glaucoma screening in this area if possible.
• A lot of thanks to missionary Maud kells who
helps us to get MULITA easily.
