

◦ Direct force with sharp object

S/S
◦ Pain, bleeding, obvious tearing of skin

TX
◦ Wound care, refer for stitches if necessary
Nasal Fracture


◦ Direct blow

S/S
◦ Deformity and swelling at the bridge of the
nose

TX
◦ Treat the bleeding
◦ refer
Tooth Fracture

MOI
◦ Blow to jaw. Above or below gum line, injury
to pulp

S/S
◦ Pain & bleeding, loose or missing part of tooth
◦ Rule out laceration and brain injury

TX
◦ Cap tooth, refer to dentist
Partial, Complete Dislocated Tooth


◦ Missing or dislodged tooth

