Description The giant water bug is referred to as one of the biggest insects in both the U.S.A. and Canada. It can grow up to 4 inches long and is commonly mistaken for a cockroach or beetle. Description The whirligig beetles are small, black beetles that can grow to be 1/8 to 1 3/8 inches long.
