3. Montering
Denna produkt levereras nästan helt monterad. Endast det övre handtaget och dörrhandtaget ska
monteras av kunden. Dessa delar och övriga delar ligger inuti apparaten i skyddande förpackning.
1. Kontrollera först att alla delar finns med. Om delar saknas, kontakta företaget där du köpt
enheten.
Följande delar finns i plastpåsen inuti enheten:
a) Skruvar till handtag (4x)
b) Handtag (2x)
c) Upphängningskrokar (5x)
Följande delar finns i skyddande emballage inuti enheten:
a) Rökgaller (4x)
b) Spånskål (1x)
c) Droppskål (1x)
2. Montera det övre handtaget och dörrhandtag med 4 skruvar
3. Fäst de 4 racken på plats i hålen som finns på fästet på insidan bakre väggen av enheten
4. Placera skålen för rökspån i sitt stativ.
5. Placera droppskålen på nedre racken, precis ovanför spånskålen.
6. Före användning bör du låta den vara på i ca 20 minuter för att bränna bort eventuella rester från
tillverkningen på följande sätt:
a) Utför inte "inbränningen" inomhus. Det måste göras utomhus.
b) Använd inte rökspån under denna "inbränning".
c) Öppna utloppsventilen helt
d) Dörren skall vara stängd.
e) Sätt i nätsladden och slå på strömbrytaren, -lampan lyser.
f) Låt enheten vara på i 20 minuter och sedan slå av strömbrytaren.
g) Vissa externa ytor blir varma. Flytta inte enheten förrän den har svalnat.

Placera röken på en stabil värmetålig yta utomhus, skyddad för regn och med god luftcirkulation.
Detta är en utomhusrök för långsam rökning – ge tillräcklig tid för rökningen
Förvärm röken i 20-30 minuter innan du lägger i maten.
Överfyll inte röken med mat. Stora mängder mat kan förlänga rökningstiden eller orsaka ojämn
rökning.
Lämna utrymme mellan maten på rack och sidorna av röken för att säkerställa korrekt cirkulation.
Stäng spjället på baksidan av enheten för att behålla fukt och värme. Vid rökning av livsmedel som
fisk eller strimlat kött, öppna spjället att släppa ut fukt.
Extrem kyla kommer att förlänga rökningstiden.
5. Användning
Varning! Vid ofullständig förbränning av trä bildas koloxid. Denna gas är giftig och kan innebära livsfara
om apparaten används inomhus eller i andra slutna utrymmen. Använd den därför alltid utomhus med bra
luftcirkulation.
Hur man använder elektrisk rök:
1. Lägg det som skall rökas på galler eller häng på stången. Se till att tillräckligt med plats finns för bra
värmecirkulation.
2. Placera droppskålen på bottengallret.
3. Placera spån i spånskålen och placera skålen på sitt stativ.
4. Stäng dörren, se till att de magnetlåsen håller dörren stängd.
5. Ställ utloppsventilen till önskad position.
6. Anslut nätsladden och slå på strömbrytaren. Knappen lyser nu grönt som visar att värmeelementet
nu är på.
7. Beroende på mängd och typ av spån som används kommer rökningen att börja inom 10 - 20
minuter.
8. När du är klar, stäng av enheten, dra ur nätkabeln och låt den svalna innan du ställer undan den på
en skyddad plats.

Röktiden kan inte anges av tillverkaren. Eftersom enheten är för utomhusbruk, påverkar utetemperatur
och vindförhållande avsevärt den tid som krävs för att röka en produkt.
Ju lägre temperatur och kraftigare vind, desto längre tid kommer att krävas.
Hur mycket man röker åt gången påverkar också rökningstiden. Även långa förlängningssladdar kan ge
spänningsfall och påverka tidsåtgången.
Nyttiga tips
Droppskål
Denna elektriska rök är inte en ”vatten rök ”- du behöver inte tillsätta vatten om du inte vill ånga maten.
Droppskålen fångar fett och dropp från den mat du är röker.
Skål för rökspån
Denna enhet använder en 800W värmare för snabbare uppvärmning och jämnare rökning. Spånskålen ska
alltid placeras på sitt stativ och inte direkt på värmeelementet om enheten ska fungera som avsett.
Rökspån
Röken från träspån ger smak åt maten. Varje form av aromatiska lövträd, såsom Mesquite, Äpple, Körsbär,
Pecan Hickory mm kan användas. Träspån fungerar mycket bättre än större bitar. Använd endast en
handfull spån - för mycket rök lämnar för stark eftersmak.
Fettabsorberande material
Det dropp som inte fångas av droppbrickan kommer att samlas på bottenplattan. För att underlätta
rengöring, kan ett tunt lager av fettabsorberande granulat placeras i botten av röken. Använd ett material
liknande det som används för att suga upp olja på t.ex. garagegolv.
Använd INTE doftande kattsand eller annat kemiskt behandlat material.
Granulatet bör bytas ut efter ca 5-6 rökningar.
6. Säkerhetsvarning
När man använder elektriska produkter, bör grundläggande försiktighetsåtgärder alltid följas för att
minska risken för brand, elektriska stötar eller skada på person, inklusive följande:
1. Enbart för användning utomhus - Använd inte apparaten inomhus!
2. Läs alla instruktioner innan du använder produkten.
3. Anslut inte enheten förrän den är färdigmonterad och klar för användning.
4. Utsätt aldrig enheten för vatten eller regn.
5. Ha alltid en brandsläckare tillgänglig när du använder produkten.
6. Bränslen såsom kol, briketter eller pellets får inte användas i denna produkt.
7. Denna produkt blir varm när den används. För att undvika brännskador, låt inte bar hud vidröra
heta ytor.
8. Flytta aldrig apparaten när den används. Låt enheten svalna innan du flyttar eller ställer undan
den. Använd alltid det övre handtaget för att flytta den här produkten.
9. Denna enhet har varma delar inuti. Använd den inte i områden där bensin, färg eller brandfarliga
vätskor används eller lagras.
10. Var försiktig när du tar ut mat från enheten. Alla ytor är heta och kan orsaka brännskador. Använd
skyddshandskar eller långa kraftiga verktyg.
11. Täck inte maten med metallfolie.
12. Droppskålen ska endast användas på den nedre positionen.
13. Spånskålen är varm vid användning. Iakttag försiktighet vid påfyllning av spån.
14. Kasta kall aska genom att placera dem i aluminiumfolie, blöt dem med vatten och kasta i en
obrännbar behållare.
15. Förvara inte enheten med varm aska inuti. Ställ inte undan för förvaring förrän alla ytor svalnat.
16. Denna produkt är inte avsedd att användas av personer med nedsatt fysisk, sensorisk eller mental
förmåga, eller brist på erfarenhet och kunskap, såvida de inte har fått handledning eller
instruktioner om användningen av produkten av en person som ansvarar för deras säkerhet.
17. Barn måste övervakas så att de inte leker med denna produkt.
18. Dra alltid ur nätsladden när apparaten inte används.

19. Använd inte apparaten med skadad sladd eller kontakt, eller efter det att enheten har tappats eller
skadats på något sätt. Returnera enheten till en auktoriserad serviceverkstad för undersökning,
elektrisk eller mekanisk justering eller reparation.
20. Använd inte enheten i omedelbar närhet av en utomhusdusch eller swimmingpool. Placera aldrig
enheten där den kan falla ner i någon vattenbehållare.
21. För att koppla bort enheten, slå av strömbrytaren och ta sedan bort stickkontakten från uttaget.
22. Anslut endast apparaten till ett jordat uttag.
23. Lämna aldrig apparaten påslagen med oövervakade barn i närheten.
24. Se till att det alltid finns minst 1 meter fritt utrymme runt enheten.
25. Använd aldrig aerosoler eller liknande produkter runt enheten.
26. Använd aldrig röken till att torka kläder eller något annat material.
27. Om nätsladden är skadad måste den bytas ut av tillverkaren eller dess servicerepresentant eller en
liknande kvalificerad person för att undvika fara.
28. Om en förlängningssladd används, måste den:
a) vara en jordad 3-tråds kabel,
b) Ha en specifikation minst lika eller bättre än den elektriska specifikationen för enheten,
c) Vara godkänd för utomhusanvändning.
29. Använd endast denna produkt som beskrivs i denna handbok. All annan användning som inte
rekommenderas av tillverkaren kan orsaka brand, elektriska stötar eller personskador.
7. Rengöring





Drag ur stickkontakten ur vägguttaget före rengöring.
Doppa aldrig apparaten, kabel eller stickkontakt i vatten eller andra vätskor.
Gallren, spånskål, droppskål, krokar kan tas av och rengöras i en diskho.
Rengör enheten med en liten mängd vatten och mild tvål eller rengöringsmedel med en svamp
eller borste.
Elkomponenterna är vattentätade så att de tål vattenstänk och att bli avtorkade med fuktig trasa.
8. Garantivillkor
Garantitiden för denna produkt är 1 år från och med inköpsdatum. Under denna period repareras alla
defekter i material eller utförande kostnadsfritt. Följande villkor gäller rörande denna garanti:

Vi tillbakavisar uttryckligen alla övriga ersättningskrav, inklusive ersättning för följdskador.
Garantin förlängs inte i samband med reparationer eller byten av delar som sker inom
garantiperioden.
Om produkten modifieras, tillförs delar som inte är original eller repareras av en tredje part gäller
inte garantin längre.
Garantin gäller endast om daterat köpebevis i original visas upp och om detta köpebevis inte
innehåller några ändringar.
Garantin täcker inte skador som uppstått genom hantering som inte är i enlighet med
bruksanvisningen, försummelse eller skadegörelse
Köparen står för transportkostnader och ansvarar för eventuella risker i samband med att
produkten eller dess delar förflyttas.
För att undvika onödiga kostnader rekommenderar vi att du alltid först läser igenom bruksanvisningen
noga. Om denna inte erbjuder någon lösning bör du ta med produkten till återförsäljaren för reparation.
9. Miljöskydd
När apparaten inte längre fungerar måste den kasseras på ett sådant sätt att
den skadar miljön i minsta möjliga mån och i enlighet med de regler som
gäller i din kommun.

3. Assembly
This product is provided almost completely assembled, with only the top handle and door handle to be
attached by the customer. The (2) handles and associated mounting hardware, along with the (5) hanging
hooks, are located inside the electric smoker in a plastic bag. The chip bowl, drip pan, and racks are also
placed inside the unit in protective packaging.

First check to ensure that all parts are provided with the unit. If parts are missing, contact your
dealer.
The following parts are provided in the plastic bag inside the unit:
a. (4) ¾” bolts
b. (2) handles
c. (5) hanging hooks

Assemble the top handle and door handle using the enclosed bolts.
Attach the 4 racks in position in the holes located on the support bracket on the interior back wall
of the unit.
Place the chip bowl in the tripod.
Place the drip tray on the bottom rack, just above the chip bowl.
Before smoking any food products, you should “burn it in” for about 20 minutes to burn off any
residue from the manufacturing per the following procedure:
a. DO NOT perform the “burn in” process indoors. It MUST be done outdoors.
b. DO NOT use wood chips during this “burn in” process.
c. Open the exhaust vent completely
d. Close the front door.
e. Plug in the power cord and switch on the power switch.
f. Allow the unit to heat for 20 minutes and then turn off the switch.
g. Some external surfaces will be hot. DO NOT move the unit until it has cooled down.

Place the smoker on a stable, heat resistant surface outdoors, protected from rain but with good
air circulation
This is an OUTDOOR use slow smoker – Allow sufficient time for smoking
Preheat the smoker for 20-30 minutes before loading food.
Do not overload the unit with food. Large amounts of food may trap heat extending the smoking
time or causing uneven smoking.
Leave space between the food on the racks and the smoker sides to ensure proper heat
circulation.
Close air damper on top rear side of unit to retain moisture and heat. If smoking foods such as
fish or jerky, open the damper to release the moisture.
Extreme cold temperatures will extend smoking times.
5. Operation
Warning! Carbon monoxide Hazard!
Burning wood gives off carbon monoxide gas, which can cause sickness & death
DO NOT this unit inside homes, vehicles, garages, or any enclosed areas.
Use only in outdoor areas that are well ventilated
How to Use the Electric Smoker
1. Place the food material on the racks ensuring there is space between the pieces for good heat
circulation.
2. Place the drip tray on the bottom rack.
3. Place wood chips in the Chip Bowl and place the chip bowl in the tripod bracket.
4. Close the front door, ensuring that the magnetic catches are holding the door closed.
5. Adjust the exhaust vent to the desired position.
6. Plug in the power cord and turn the on/off switch to the “on” position. The switch will turn green
showing that the smoker is now heating.
7. Depending on the amount and type of wood chips used, the smoker will start smoking within
from 10 – 20 minutes.
8. When you are finished smoking, turn the unit off and allow it to cool down before storing it in a
covered area.
Smoking Time
The smoking time is difficult to specify by the manufacturer. The unit is designed for outdoor use and
outside temperature and wind conditions can greatly affect the time required to smoke a product. Low
temperature and strong wind will increase the time required.
Also, the house current, whether or not an extension cord is being used, and the amount of product being
smoked will have an effect on the length of time required to smoke the products.

Helpful Hints
Drip tray
This electric smoker is not a water smoker – you do not need to add water unless you want to steam your
food. The drip tray catches the grease and drippings from the food you are smoking.
Chip bowl
This unit uses an 800W heater for quicker heat-up and more consistent smoking. The chip bowl should
always be placed in the tripod bracket, not directly on the heating element, to ensure the unit is operating
as designed.
Wood chips
The smoke from the wood chips adds flavor to the food. Any kind of aromatic hardwood, such as
mesquite, apple, cheery, pecan, or hickory can be used. Wood chips work much better than the larger
chunks. Use only a handful of chips – too much smoke leaves a strong aftertaste.
Grease Absorbent
The drip tray will NOT catch all the grease and food drippings – that not caught by the drip tray will be
collected on the bottom plate. For ease of clean-up, a thin layer of grease absorbent should be placed in
the bottom of the smoker. Use granular oil absorbent material (like that used to soak up oil on a garage
floor). Do NOT use a scented kitty litter or any other chemically treated material. The grease absorbent
material should be replaced after using the smoker 5 or 6 times.
6. Safety warnings
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, or any injury to person, including the following:
1. For outdoor use only - Do not use indoors.
2. Read all instructions before using this product.
3. Do not plug in the unit until it is fully assembled and ready for use.
4. Do not expose this unit to water or rain at any time.
5. Keep a fire extinguisher available at all times when using this product.
6. Fuels, such as charcoal briquettes or heat pellets, are not to be used in this product.
7. This product is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch the hot surfaces.
8. Never move this unit when in use. Allow the unit to cool before moving or storing it. Always use
the top carry handle to move this product.
9. This unit has hot parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids
are used or stored.
10. Be careful when removing food from inside the unit. All surfaces are hot and MAY cause burns.
Use protective gloves or long sturdy cooking tools.
11. Do not cover cooking racks with metal foil. This will trap heat and damage the unit.
12. The drip tray is to be used ONLY on the bottom rack of the unit.
13. The wood chip bowl is HOT when in use. Care must be taken when adding wood chips.
14. Dispose of cold ashes by placing them in aluminum foil, soaking them with water, and discarding
in a non-combustible container.
15. Do not store this unit with hot ashes inside. Store only after all surfaces are cooled to near
ambient temperatures.
16. This product is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
17. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this product.
18. Always unplug the unit when not in use.
19. Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug, or after the unit has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return the unit to an authorized service facility for examination,
electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
20. .Do not use this unit in the immediate surroundings of an outdoor shower or swimming pool.
Never locate the unit where it may fall into any water container.
21. To disconnect the unit, turn controls to off, then remove the power plug from the outlet.
22. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
23. Never leave the unit switched in the “on” position with unsupervised children in the vicinity.
24. Always allow at least 1 meter clearance around the unit.
25. Never use aerosols or similar products around the unit.

26. Never use the smoker to dry clothes or any other materials.
27. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
28. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an
extension cord is used, it must:
a)
be a grounding type 3-wire cord,
b)
be marked with a rating at least as great as the electrical rating of the unit,
c)
be an “outdoor” extension cord & marked with the suffix “W” and the statement “suitable
for use with outdoor appliances”
29. Use this product only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
7. Cleaning




Always disconnect the unit before cleaning.
Clean the unit using a small amount of water and mild soap or baking soda with a sponge or scrub
brush.
The electrical box and on/off switch are watertight, so a small amount of water sprayed or wiped
on these surfaces will not be detrimental to the unit.
The racks, chip bowl, drip tray, and hanging hooks can be removed and washed in a sink.
8. Warranty Provisions
This product comes with a 12-month warranty starting on the date of purchase. Within this period any
defects in material or workmanship will be repaired without any charge. The following provisions shall
apply regarding this warranty:

We expressly dismiss all other claims for damage, including consequential damages;
Any repairs or replacements of components within the term of the warranty will not result in an
extension of the term of the warranty;
The warranty will no longer apply if the product has been modified, non-original parts have been
used, or if it has been repaired by third parties;
The warranty will only apply, when you present the original, dated proof of purchase, provided
no changes have been made to it;
The warranty will not apply to damage caused by actions not in compliance with the Directions
for Use, neglect, vandalism;
Transportation costs and the risk involved during the transportation of the product or its
components will always be the responsibility of the purchaser.
In order to avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend that you always read the Directions for Use carefully
first. If they offer no solution, please take the product to your dealer for repair.
9. Environmental Protection
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste.Please recycle
where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
