Current projects within recycling 2 Legislation and Strategy • • • • Finalization of Waste Management Strategy, Finalization of Waste Management Action Plan, Approving of Eco found law , Decentralization of waste management competences at local level. Component 4: Planned projects within recycling Planned projects within recycling • Project planned at Waste Management Action Plan 2011-2021 – Establishment of solid waste recycling centers; – Improvement of technical equipment for waste separation, collection and recycling, – Construction of factory for waste mechanical and biological treatment; – Development program for advanced education in waste management. • Other project – Supporting small recycling projects and initiatives, – Awareness campaigns for waste recycling education. Planned projects within recycling 2 Legislation and decentralization • Transposition of EU directives for waste recycling in national legislation, • Implementation of Eco found law, • Capacity building for waste management and waste recycling at local level, • Supporting municipalities on waste management and recycling.
