(25 – 26 February) at the NEC, Birmingham to promote the
association and our members.

Swedish Paper withdrawn at June UN meetings
•GHS Corrosivity Issues – continued scrutiny for Packing Groups
Ongoing
•Revised WM2 Hazardous Waste Guidelines – effective now
Advised no further change but SIA continue to fight
•UN 3509 applied to un-cleaned scrapped packaging from 2015
UK to allow continuation of Empty Packaging Criteria for scrap
•Metal IBC wall thickness proposals from SSCA
Not accepted by UN
•France BPA ban – applicable to drums & IBCs?..
