KEY DATES TO KEEP IN MIND

Illinois Energy Now is an ongoing program beginning
June 1 and ending May 31 each year.

Funding is distributed on a first-come, first-served
basis.

April 1, 2015 – Deadline for submitting new
Pre-Approval Applications.

May 8, 2015 – Deadline for completing projects and
submitting Final Applications.

SWEET DEAL AND PARTNER BONUS COUPON
 5% Sweet Deal Bonus for projects and Final
Applications completed by Valentine’s Day
(2/14/15).
 15% Partner Bonus rebate for participating in a
Partner Program energy assessment or event.
PARTNER BONUS COUPON DETAILS

Incentive plus the Partner Bonus cannot exceed 86% of the total
project cost (purchase and installation of measures).

Incentives are eligible for Sweet Deal Bonus or DCEO Partner
Bonus Coupon, but not both.

Only public entities are eligible to receive Partner Bonus Coupons.
Coupons are not transferable.

Each Partner Bonus Coupon can be applied to only one incentive
application.

Bonus Coupon deadline is extended to August 31, 2015.

New Bonus Coupons will be more limited next program year.

CURRENT YEAR BUDGET STATUS
For Standard, Custom, and New Construction Rebates:

Funds are available: Nicor Gas and Ameren Electric

Funds are limited: Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas

Funds are exhausted: ComEd and Ameren Gas

Funds are secure (at the level noted in the letter) for projects that
received a Notice To Proceed letter in the current program year.

Now accepting wait list applications for ComEd, Ameren Gas,
and Peoples Gas.

DCEO will issue more guidance on wait list procedures in
the next couple weeks.

WAITLIST GUIDELINES
For new Applications received in those utilities where funding
exhausted (Ameren NG and ComEd):
1. DCEO will notify Applicant that they are being placed on a
waitlist.
2. DCEO will notify Applicant if funds become available.
3. If Applicant can complete project by May 8, 2015, DCEO will
issue a Notice to Proceed.
4.
Applications that are not funded will need to re-apply under
2015-2016 Guidelines and Forms.
For new Applications received in those utilities with funding available: DCEO will
notify Applicant that Application has been received and provide project number and
DCEO contact.

ANTICIPATED CHANGES FOR
NEXT PROGRAM YEAR (2015-2016)
Thinking
ahead…

Rebates for fluorescent T12 fixture retrofits and replacements will
decrease.

Exterior LED lighting (>4380 hours/year) rebate will decrease from
$0.30 per kWh to $0.20 per kWh.

Exterior LED lighting (up to 4380 hours/year) rebate will decrease from
$1.30 per kW to $0.80 per kW.

Custom rebate for natural gas measures will decrease from $3.00 per
therm to $2.00 per therm.

Applicants will have a limited period to complete projects after the
Notice to Proceed is issued.
Note: These future changes are approximations and will be adjusted as
needed.
