How Does it work?
When you buy a new electronic appliance, make sure it has
energy monitor support and fill in you Social Energy profile.
Now all you need to do is go to our site and monitor your
consumption.
You will receive alerts if any of your appliance is misbehaving.
Your consumption is shared with other Social Energy Meter
users.
Motivation
• Exposing consumers to their actual electricity consumption,
per appliance, by sharing it with others.
Goal
• Making a “reliability-standard” for electricity appliances
products.
Costumers
• Individual consumers that wish to track their power
consumption in real-time, and be notified upon “unusual
electricity behavior”.

consumption per manufacture / model / location / user
profile etc…
