Ron Hubbard What is Study Technology? Study Technology 1 • Study Technology is a learning how to learn methodology which trains learners to be self-learners who fully understand and apply what they have learned. It builds self-reliance and competence. Learners retain their knowledge and abilities gained. Study Technology 2 Study Technology empowers educators to increase the effectiveness of their teaching. Study Technology builds capacity in the education system by enhancing the capabilities of teacher and learner. Study Technology 3 Study Technology is not Information Technology and not English Language training. Fortunately, this course has given us a chance, which I hope may now be repeated, and has helped me to increase my awareness in the field of education and explained some phenomena that have happened to me before in my study and my work life, and I hope to put what I have already learned into action. Thank you very much, H.S.I. Testimonial 2 • I am now a different person than I was three days ago. I feel bright and have great confidence in myself. I also feel more energetic; I feel that I can read any book, study any article and, most important, UNDERSTAND any piece of work. S.M.G. Testimonial 3 • Today, because I know how to know as a teacher, no one can cheat me. I am now able to test knowledge by application. I now demand practical application to theory because theory alone does not satisfy me. I need DEMONSTRATION. S.M.G Testimonial 4 This course made me revise my attitude both as a learner and as a teacher, and I hope I shall be able to perform better both as a teacher to others and as a learner myself. W.B.M.H.
