Maria Schomaker has been a meeting professional
for 20+ years, including stints as a planner and
supplier. She has been Freeman’s onsite liaison at
Maritz Travel Company since 2010, playing a
major role managing combined projects. Maria is
currently an adjunct faculty at St. Louis Community
College, and a Certified Meeting Professional,
having earned her designation in 2001.
Maria also leads an internal CMP prep course at
