Discrimination
is treating

Gender discrimination is discrimination against a
person or group on the grounds of sex or gender identity.

The Equal Pay Act of 1963
It requires the employer to pay equal wages within
the establishment to men and women doing equal work
on jobs requiring equal skill, effort, and responsibility,
which are performed under similar working conditions.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964
It prohibits employment discrimination on the
basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Pregnancy Discrimination Act of 1978
Prohibits discrimination because of pregnancy:
1. Employers cannot refuse to employ a woman because
of pregnancy or terminate her
2. They cannot force her to go on leave at an arbitrary
point during pregnancy or penalize of pregnancy in
reinstatement rights
