Founded by: UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI PERUGIA Supported by: UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI NAPOLI “PARTHENOPE” ROME, FONTANA DI TREVI CONFERENCE CENTER DECEMBER 14-16, 2011 A.D. CONFERENCE SCOPE New technologies represent a chance and also an opportunity to realize a radical change which conjugate development and sustainability. Between them, hydrogen and fuel cells technologies play a leading role. The European Fuel Cell Technology & Applications Piero Lunghi Conference – EFC, aims at replying to the several open questions which continue to challenge the fuel cell world. Its target is to create a multi-session program to enable all attendees to discuss on the status of fuel cells, consolidate the vision and reframe strategies and objectives. The great challenge of 2011 edition represented by the EXHIBITION AREA has been conceived as a multi-purpose space for implementing business opportunities and know-how exchange between industry and research world. EFC PAST EDITIONS Along the years, EFC has become a major appointment for fuel cells experts, such as researchers and scientists, industry representatives, investors and policy makers, so that the 2007 and 2009 editions each boasted more than 250 participants coming from all over the world. EFC09 counted on 175 scientific contributions by international leading experts in the field of fuel cells. 71 of the 175 final papers were selected for publication in 2 specialistic journals: “ASME Journal of Fuel Cell Science and Technology” and “International Journal of Hydrogen Energy”.
