SHORT HISTORY OF SCHOOL
The beginning of school dates back to 1890,
when Serbian shipping society was founded. It
worked like vocational training or like short
courses when needed.
Between two wars, in 1918, the Kingdom of
Yugoslavia got a fleet of ships that belonged to
Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and so became
second largest fleet of ships on the Danube.
So strong, it trained its personnel having learned
from Austro-Hungarian, Hungarian and Bavarian
shipping industry.
