PROJECT
THE YOUNGEST ENTERPRENEURS OF EUROPE
 We tried to create a ranking of the most
lucrative professions in Bulgaria, but the
practice in our country has proved that this is
impossible.
 The reason - the degree of qualification and
payment nothing to do here.
 Moreover, the same position paid too
"different" amounts, according to the company.
Therefore any attempt to layout and
classification of occupation wasn’t possible.
 In the national ranking of
occupations in Bulgaria
professions are divided
into nine classes, which
are divided into
subclasses:
 Class 1 - The President,
legislators, senior
officials and all
management positions at
a higher level.

Class 2 - Analytical specialists. These are
scientists, professors, doctors, dentists,
pharmacists, lawyers, artists, writers,
journalists,
researchers,
architects,
engineers
...
 Class 3 - Technicians and associate
professionals. These are computer
technicians, operators of any equipment,
marine and aviation specialists, inspectors
safety and quality.
 Class 4 - Administrative staff. This includes
secretaries, positions associated with the
record-keeping and funding.
 Class 5 - Personnel of the population in
services, trade and security. In this category
are occupations such as police support staff
in transport, diviners, astrologers and models,
vendors, demonstrators.
 Class 6 - Skilled agricultural, forestry,
fishing and hunting
 Class 7 - Skilled production workers and
related craftsmen, as workers in mining,
construction, metallurgists, manufacturers
of food, leather, textiles, etc.
 Class 8 - Operators of machinery and
equipment,
workers
and
assemblers.
Operators are all people who deal with the
management of machinery of any industry.
There are also drivers and deck seamen.
 Class 9 - Occupations requiring no special
qualifications. There are street vendors,
maids, porters, messengers, construction
workers from the lowest level, etc.
 Currently an employee of Class 2, such as a
high school teacher and artist at the National
Theatre receives a salary of 300 euro.
However, a worker in class 9, such as simple
construction, receives daily salary no less
than 30 euro, which makes 1000 per month.
 According to the National Insurance
Institute (NII) best-paid in Bulgaria are
some doctors, computer specialists and
managers. Prosecutors and judges are also
leading by good salaries budget (about 800
Euro). Companies that pay the best are
those of software and management and
consulting organizations.
 It is interesting that among the top
positions of well-paid staff are drugs
and clinical research companies .
 One of the mandatory rules of a good
salary is to work in a foreign company
or one whose owner or manager is a
foreigner. For example, if you are a
programmer and work for a Bulgarian
company, will receive a salary in the
range of 400-500 euro. However, if you
do the same work for a foreign
company, also in Bulgaria, the monthly
income you may be 1000-1500 euro.
 So, the situation is same with the
doctors, journalists, managers and many
other professions whose standards are
globally aligned. That’s why experts in
the field of computer technology often
quoted abroad because of the uniform
global standards for qualification.

