Introduction
The workshop assumes participants are familiar with introductory statistics but have little or
no knowledge of SEM. Further, this workshop is about the use of SEM when ordinary
assumptions such as multivariate normality and large number of sample size are not met.
This situations would require the use of a special method for SEM which is call Partial Least
Squares (PLS) method.
Why should use PLS
• PLS does not require normal-distributed input data
• PLS can be applied to complex SEM with a large number of construct
• PLS can be able to handle both reflective and formative construct
Instructor:
• PLS is better suited for theory development than for theory testing
• PLS is especially useful for prediction
Who should join this workshop
Researchers, MBA, DBA, MSc and PhD candidate are invited to
join this workshop. Especially, to who are at the stage of data
collection and analysis.
